When deciding on the location for your shoot think outside of the box.
I have used Parking Garages. Arcades. Restaurants. Overpasses.
What is the best time of day for my session?
Depends on - Time of year + Location of choice.
I most prefer the magical lighting you will get just about 2 hours prior to sunset. However, morning light has its own unique beauty.
Be prepared to get up early to catch the morning light. If the location being used doesn’t have enough shade we will need to meet before the sun gets too bright.

Is my deposit refundable?
Since the date for your shoot was held for you and not available to other potential clients - deposits are non-refundable. If you pay your session in advance and we have to cancel I will refund all but $50 of your session fee within a 48 hour window of cancellation.
*My first goal will be to find a date to reschedule your shoot.
Are taxes and travel fees included in the cost?
At this time taxes are included in my session cost.
*That may change in the future.
Travel fees may be required outside of the Georgetown, TX area.
When should I schedule my portrait session?
This might depend on a few things.
I encourage my male clients to wait a bit longer as they typically are still growing, maturing and potentially can change a lot from the beginning of Senior year to the end.
Do you need a picture for an announcement, program, event etc? If you need images for a specific event try and give me a 10 day - 2 week window depending on time of year.
Fall and Spring are the best times to schedule Senior portraits. You also need to keep in mind if you choose a venue as your location they might require a reservation and may be booked months in advance. Please tell me ASAP if you are hoping to use a specific location. You might also consider time of year when you choose your location. The seasons make locations appear very different.
Will {AC} provide props?
Each and every session with {AC} photography is unique and custom to YOU. For that reason I do not keep props to share. You are more than welcome to bring your own items which can occupy your hands and make you less nervous. Adding your own “props” will also help make this session more about YOU.
EXAMPLES: tap/ballet shoes, instruments, pets, hats, sunglasses, your car, sporting gear etc.
What do you spend your time doing? do you fish, sew, sing, dance, play sports, drink coffee, read books, golf… How can we ADD MORE OF YOU?!?

Where should I have my portraits taken?
Who is responsible to pay avenue fee?
Many locations are free. If you choose a location or venue that requires a fee you {the client} are responsible to cover that cost.
Should I have my hair & make up professionally done?
This is a personal preference. If it makes you feel more confident it will translate into more beautiful images. Not because it makes you prettier - confidence makes your portraits better!
