The magic is so often found in the IN-BETWEEN.

Typically my favorite shots are the ones that organically unfold. My goal is to artfully capture moments for you that are both planned as well as the unexpected.

I don't have many rules. This is about you. Your outfit should be a reflection of that. You should feel comfortable. Bring several options to the shoot even if you don't wear them all.
Consider your style: Are you casual, athletic, formal, dressy, preppy? Bits of all?

Portraits can already feel a bit awkward there is no reason to add stress by trying to be someone you're not.

Put your own style together like a basketball jersey under a suit with sneakers
Bring your future college banners/shirts/caps - High school cap/gown/letterman jacket/sports
Dress up or dress down - OR BOTH
Wear a power suit to reflect your goal in the corporate world/politics/law

I am a natural light, on-location-photographer —

which means you won’t find me in a studio making everyone look the same. My goal is to capture you just as you are, in a place that means something to you.

Whether that’s your favorite fast food joint, school, sports field, car lot, arcade, coffee shop, ranch, parking garage, downtown square, beach, or even the side of a mountain - I’m there for it. Let’s go where you feel most like yourself. I have shot in all of these places for my amazing clients. So don’t be afraid to think outside the box. If it matters to you, it matters to me.

My goal isn’t to create the perfect, posed shot. It’s to capture the beautiful, honest moments as they naturally unfold. Yes, I’ll give a little direction when its needed - but the magic happens when you let yourself go, have fun, and just be yourself.

Some of my favorite images come from the unexpected - the laugh between poses, the windblown hair, the quiet moment you didn’t know I was watching. That’s the good stuff. That’s you.
